Saskia Howard

Saskia Howard is Managing Director of Blakeney Point, a discrete and professional advisory boutique partnering with founders, families and investment managers to serve the distinct needs of these strategic, long-term investors. 

Prior to launching Blakeney Point, Saskia joined the world’s most active early stage tech investor, 500 Global. As global Head of Strategic Relations she drove the firm’s growth strategy, leveraging her track record of building and scaling global funds, leading strategic initiatives and her extensive global business network. In launching the firm’s growth-stage business, Saskia led business development with institutional asset allocators and governments, bringing new product solutions to this institutional client base.

Saskia was previously Director of External Relations at SoftBank Vision Fund for 4 years. Initially, Saskia played an instrumental role within the CEO Office in the build out of the world’s largest technology asset managers, from investment to operational strategy and execution, and monetising SoftBank Group assets. Saskia went on to lead the External Relations Department, managing sensitive and high profile relationships with governments, investors and other significant stakeholders.

Since 2011, Saskia was Director of Institutional Client Coverage at UBS, managing relationships with sovereign institutions across Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
