Lucas Fox

Lucas Fox was one of Brex’s first employees and played a pivotal role in scaling the company from <10 employees to over 1200 employees in ~5 years. In his multifaceted role, he led multiple teams across recruiting, go-to-market, and product. He became the CEO of the Startup business unit comprising Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations. Under his leadership, Brex’s venture-backed market share grew from 10% to over 50% in just three years, and he managed a P&L exceeding $250M ARR.

Lucas is also the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Avra – a spinoff fund from Y Combinator, known as the “Y Combinator for Growth”, with a batch-based accelerator program for Series A-D founders, and a $350M fund that specializes on leading Series B investments.
